🚚 Shipping & 🐠 DOA Policy

✅ Live Arrival Guarantee

Our guarantee ONLY applies to:

UPS / FedEx Overnight & Cargo
2nd Day Priority (on most Plecos, Guppies, and Killifish)

We ship Monday, Tuesday, and some Wednesdays.

If delivery is delayed due to carrier issues or weather, the live arrival guarantee is void. (That said, we’ll usually work with you to make things right — because we’re hobbyists too.)

💸 Refunds & Credits

Refunds or credits are issued for DOA fish only — not shipping charges.
Refunds come as either:
- Store credit toward future fish purchases, or
- Refund of the fish purchase price.
A tracking number will be provided before shipment. You are responsible for monitoring your package.

🐟 What “Live Arrival” Means

Fish must arrive alive in the bags when you open the box within 1 hour of delivery.
Once bags are opened and fish are introduced to your water, the guarantee ends.
We do not guarantee survival in your tank conditions or compatibility with tank mates.
For DOA claims:
- Contact us within 1 hour of delivery.
- Provide a time-stamped photo/video of the box being opened and the fish in the SEALED BAG.
- No exceptions.

📦 Shipping Details

Fish are purged for 2 days before shipping.
Orders placed Monday → processed Tuesday → fish purged Tuesday/Wednesday → shipped the following Monday.
Air cargo deliveries ship ASAP after purging (never longer than 5 days).
Payment must be received before fish are pulled for purging.
Cancellations:
- Before bagging/boxing → 50% refund of purchase price + full shipping refund.
- After bagging/boxing → 50% refund of purchase price only.
- Or choose 75% store credit (valid for 90 days on in-stock items).
