Orders & Payment
Placing an order through our site is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order. Payment is processed securely through Wix Payments at the time of purchase; your order is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.
We make reasonable efforts to describe our livestock and products accurately, including size, sex, and condition, but natural variation is expected — a product's photo or description is representative, not a guarantee of the exact individual animal you'll receive unless otherwise stated.
Shipping & Livestock
Live animals require special handling. Shipping methods, live-arrival guarantees, DOA (dead-on-arrival) claim requirements, refund and store-credit terms, and order cancellation terms are set out in full in our Shipping & DOA Policy, which is part of these Terms. Please read it before ordering livestock.
You are responsible for making sure your aquarium and equipment are suitable and ready before livestock arrives. We are not responsible for losses caused by unsuitable tank conditions, incompatible tank mates, or issues arising after the live-arrival window described in our Shipping & DOA Policy has passed.
Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uncle Joe's Fish Shed is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your purchase, beyond the remedies described in our Shipping & DOA Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under law that can't be limited by agreement.
This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind beyond those we expressly state or that can't be excluded by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
